Swim
Meets
There are three types of Swim Meets -
Dual, ISI, and Conference meets. The coach distributes sign ups for
each meet. Please sign and return the sheets by the date specified
to ensure your place in the meet. Here is a description of these
types of meets:
Dual
Meets
We are part of the
Northwest Illinois Swim Conference. During the year we will swim
against other teams that are part of this conference. All swimmers
should try to swim in these meets.
ISI Swim Meets
A subsidiary of USA
Swimming, ISI sanctions all teams in the state of Illinois. These
meets are open to all ISI sanctioned teams. These meets usually
take place over multiple days, usually Friday evening, Saturday and
Sunday. You may swim one day or all days. Please indicate on the
sign up form for the meet which days you wish to swim. You will be
charged for your entries in these meets even if you do not
swim.
Conference
The attendance at these meets is based
upon time, performance, and ability. The coaches make the selection
of swimmers and events.
